2025 New Bedford Half Marathon
The New Bedford Half Marathon has been hosted by the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick since 2009. In 2008, the original race committee asked our organization if we would be interested in ‘shadowing’ them to see if we would be inclined to take over this Historic Running Event held every year on the 3rd Sunday in March, here in the Whaling City.
Event Info
Our annual race held on the 3rd Sunday in March and is one of the oldest half marathon distance events in the Northeast. We are managed by the 100% volunteer New Bedford Half Marathon Race Committee along with our host organization, the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and with the wonderful support of the City of New Bedford.
We hope you enjoy yourself and take in all our historic city has to offer!
