Although it’s hard to imagine wanting to leave Southeastern Massachusetts for a day, the region is just the starting point of what the state has to offer. Starting in the summer of 2024, new train services from Fall River and New Bedford to Boston will open the door to the rich culture, history, and attractions of our capital. Additionally, ferries departing from New Bedford offer a gateway to the picturesque landscapes and historic charm of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. And we are a short drive away from scenic Cape Cod and Plymouth where the Pilgrims landed and New England’s modern history began.
