Wednesday Workshop: Everyday Herbal Health

Wednesday Workshop: Everyday Herbal Health

Event Date: November 13, 2019
Event Location: Old Colony History Museum | Start/End Time: 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

Nourishing our bodies is essential to maintaining health, and winter is a time when nourishment is extra important! Did you know that herbal teas are the perfect way to support your health in the coldest season? Come join us for "Everyday Herbal Health", where we will discuss the benefits of "nutritive herbal tonics," and learn how herbs can offer us the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that our bodies need to keep us well throughout the seasons. This workshop will include tea tasting & crafting your own personalized tonic tea!

A South Coast native, Carissa Wills-DeMello is constantly inspired by the intelligence & abundance of nature. This led her to become a student and practitioner of Western Herbalism and to creating “Bilo Herbs”. With a belief that simple habits cultivate lifelong wellness, Bilo Herbs crafts medicinal teas and other products with the most delicious and nutritious plants possible. Carissa regularly offers herbal education, too, with a foundational belief that plant medicine belongs to each one of us!

This workshop is two hours in length and is limited to 20 people. Please bring something to take notes with.

The fee for each workshop is $10 for members, $15 for non-members, and always includes cost of materials.
