Battleship Cove located in Fall River, Massachusetts is the world’s largest collection of historic naval ships. In 1964, the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including over 6000 school children, banded together to save the battleship, USS Massachusetts, from being scrapped, and bring her to the waterfront of historic Fall River on June 12, 1965.
