The Victorian gardens at Fall River Historical Society offer a scenic and romantic setting for wedding ceremonies, receptions, or photographs. If you want a garden wedding, we have just what you’re looking for.
A popular feature for wedding ceremonies at the FRHS is our elegant nineteenth-century cast-iron gazebo, the only original example still in existence in Fall River. Many a bride and groom have exchanged their vows in the gazebo, with their family and friends observing the ceremony from our flower-bordered stone terrace. The gardens were designed in such a manner that your entire day, from start to finish, can be conducted in a lush, verdant environment. Lawn areas are available that can be tented for receptions – or why not tent the terrace, ideal for dancing.
The grounds at the Fall River Historical Society provide an ideal and affordable location for small to medium-sized weddings with a suggested maximum capacity of 150 guests. The grounds can also be rented for wedding photographs only. Contact the museum for prices and further details. Our staff will be delighted to work with you in planning your special day.
